Copywriting and Content Creation: Proficiency in writing engaging and effective email copy. Ability to create compelling content, subject lines, and CTAs that drive open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis and ability to derive insights from email marketing metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates). Familiarity with email marketing analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications for Email Marketing Specialist

Email Marketing Certifications: Possessing certifications in email marketing or related digital marketing areas can be advantageous. Certifications such as HubSpot Email Marketing Certification or Google Analytics Certification demonstrate expertise and a commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities of Email Marketing Specialist

Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan and execute email marketing campaigns for clients, including creating email content, designing templates, and setting up automated workflows. Collaborate with the creative team, copywriters, and designers as needed.

List Management and Segmentation: Manage email subscriber lists, segment audiences based on demographics, behaviors, or other criteria, and maintain data hygiene. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).

Content Creation and Copywriting: Write engaging and persuasive email copy, subject lines, and CTAs. Develop content that resonates with target audiences and aligns with clients’ brand messaging and goals.

Email Design and Testing: Design email templates or collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and mobile-responsive emails. Conduct A/B testing on email elements (e.g., subject lines, CTAs) to optimize performance.
